The world has a way of reminding me that most of us are good people. The World Cup has been so fun to watch. It’s been exciting to see people so excited about the country I live in and things we take for granted every single day. It’s been dreamy to see people dancing in the streets together. Ever since the Knicks big win and the World Cup beginning I am reminded how special New Orleans is. (I know, what does that even have to do with any of it?) Well, we dance in the streets regularly, are joyful on sidewalks together at least once, or 20 times a year. Pure joy can be found 24-7-365.
It all reminded me of this house….. and I used to know the people across the street and they actually play soccer as professionally as one can in New Orleans, so this isn’t even a random prop.
