As soon as I stepped off the school bus on a sixth grade field trip I knew New Orleans was Home. There is no place like it and as many have said before me, some of us just belong here. It’s like a calling, if you leave, she will call you back. This is a fun piece full of the coveted bead medallions we throw our back muscles out for every year. My children and I walk around the Garden District most mornings and we love watching the bead fences bloom every season.
