One cannot explain Tucks you just have to experience it for yourself. One cannot put into words the feeling of watching the krewe “Roll” down the Avenue while actually rolling the entire city along the way, the music, the crowds cheering, toilet plungers flying at your head. The walk the next morning is always my favorite. I purposefully pick a place to get caffeinated along the route to see all the signs of celebration hanging from the trees.
